Time flies, and March is almost over! The first quarter of 2025 is also coming to an end. Let's review the current progress and some achievements of the project. In this update, we will mention the follow-up plans after the workshop, the OONI team's release of the implementation concept of 'anonymous credentials,' the current translation achievements of the project, and the establishment of the Tor Relays observation station!
The Tor/Tails and OONI workshops successfully concluded on the afternoon and evening of February 23, 2025. We are thrilled to invite you to a full-day event dedicated to online privacy, censorship circumvention, and censorship monitoring, hosted in partnership with Open Culture Foundation, the Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI), and The Tor Project on February 23rd, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan.
This free pre-event will feature hands-on workshops and a public keynote by Roger Dingledine, co-founder of The Tor Project.
Thie event will feature:
Two hands-on workshops for journalists, activists, and human rights defenders focused on digital security and censorship resistance.
A public keynote by Roger Dingledine, co-founder of The Tor Project, on defending online privacy in an era of mass surveillance.
Please register for the sessions you wish to attend by selecting the appropriate type of ticket. Due to venue limitations, some sessions have a cap on the number of participants, so please register early. The exact location of the event will be announced separately closer to the date.
